The entry fee in all adult classes (including Feature Classes) is $1.00 per exhibit.
The entry fee in all student classes is free. Entries in student classes are only eligible Student-specific prizes. If students wish to enter open classes, the $1.00 entry fee is payable.
All cash prize money will be paid out at the Show Office during opening times.
All gifts and Sponsor Vouchers are to be collected with the exhibits in the Pavilion during Opening Times.
Please note: There will not be an award presentation
Unless otherwise specified, prize money will be paid as follows:
Classes with only one entry:
1st Place: $1.00 and a card
Classes with two entries:
1st Place: $1.00 and a card
2nd Place: Card only
Classes with three or more entries:
1st Place: $3.00 and a card
2nd Place: $1.00 and a card
3rd Place: Card only
They are ordinary classes that offer substantial cash prizes. All sections have a feature and the exhibits will be returned to the entrant.
The only exception is the Culinary Feature Class where all exhibits will be sold with the proceeds of the sale going to the Blackbutt Agricultural Show Society.
This year Photography has two Features: One open to Students and Happy Snappers and the second open to Intermediate and Open Photographers.
Most Successful Exhibitors are determined by adding points that an Exhibitor earns from winning Class Placings.
Three points are allotted for 1st place, two points for 2nd place and one point for 3rd place.
Points are not earned for Feature, Student Classes or Challenges.
Will be accepted at the Show Office only at the following times. Exhibits may be delivered to the Pavilion at the same time as Entry Forms or during the following entry times.
Tuesday 15th May: 1.00pm to 5.00pm
Wednesday 16th May: 9.00am to 5.00pm
Thursday 17th May: 9.00am to 7.00pm
Friday 18th May: 7.00am to 10.00am
Closing times are as follows and Judging will occur on the same day:
